Lyric Project
I chose this project because I like the idea of comparing an image to a lyric - or even making an image match the lyric. Most of my photographs are straight forward and you can tell what lyric matches which photograph. However others are a bit more complicated such as by final chosen photograph for shoot 4. The main thing that worked with all the images was brightness, contrast as well as vibrance. I used all of these in nearly every edit because it really brings out the colours or even dulls it down if necessary.
However the one thing that I did begin to struggle with is putting overlays on two photographs, but once I learnt how to do it I caught on quickly and it became really easy and a useful thing to use in the future. I am very proud of all of my edits - but mostly of my final chosen images. I had fun taking them - especially choosing what song as well as what lyric can create a good photograph. My best shoot for me is shoot 4 - it has my two favourite pictures. I tried to create the ' a little romance' photograph to look vintage since love can last for a long time.
Doing this project has taught me how I can use dodge and burn in a subtle - but it still makes a good effect. Taking all of these photographs led me to enjoy editing photographs more and gave me a good imagination of what edits I can do next.
