Still Life - Giuseppe Bognanni
I really like Giuseppe's still life photography because of how colourful it is. As well as how he uses water in his images. The photograph's are very simple - they aren't busy The top two photo's above are my favourite - this is because you can see the reflections in the water. What I also really like about Giuseppe's work is how close up the image is. It's also very clear. This inspires my own work because i'd like to add bright colours. I believe doing this will reveal the emotion I want to portray.
What I also like about these photograph's is how the lighting is displayed in it. From the second picture on the top you are clearly able to see that the lighting is coming from the right. The lighting in every photograph here really brightens the colours.
For my first shoot I will be basing it on the personalities of my family - to do this I shall be taking pictures of the objects that relate to that person. For example to find my personality in photograph's it will include books as I like to read. For my brother it's all about technology like laptops or gaming equipment. The objects used in these photograph's are quite random, although they are also reflective - especially to the light. The bottom right photo reflects the windows - but since each paper weight is a different colour so are the reflections.
