Martin Waugh
Martin combines art and science to capture these beautiful images of water droplet photography. He uses fast shutter speed to capture the second the water makes a splash. These photographs are unpredictable none of his photographs are the same. He has managed to capture the smoothness and curves of the liquid. To create his photographs he varies the different size of the water droplets. Martin Waugh's photographs can be found in museums and private collectors. All of his photographs are close up to capture the ripples and the splash of the liquid when it hits the waters surface.
I really enjoy Martin's art because it's peaceful and none are the same, it's a very original selection of photography to focus on. I hope when doing my own water droplet photography that it can create the same affect physically but as well as being able to capture the same peacefulness that it clearly shows in the photographs above.
